She has other obligations that she has to meet, and because of those, she cannot continue with Group. (Well, maybe a spot illustration here and there.)

It does give rise to a new thought, though. One I’ll see about putting in place after the move, and one that depends on other things, as well. We’ll see how it goes.

Don’t worry. Group WILL finish. I just have to find another artist. That might take a little bit.

Is there anything else to say?

When I thought up this page, I saw something pretty powerful in my head.  The payoff to it is the next page, but I liked this setup.  Every time I get a page from Sara, she goes above and beyond what I had in my head.  It’s not even right.  I’m salivating right now thinking about that page.

And Nora’s something else, isn’t she?  I love her, too.  I really do.  That’s why I put her through so much.

This was the second page I got from Sara in almost as many days.  Honestly, I don’t think “love” is too strong a word here.

I know, it’s been nothing but weeks and weeks of setup.  For those that have been following from the beginning, its been months.  But let me assure you, the setup is nearly done.  Just a few more pages, and then we’ll reach the end of the chapter, and then the fun really begins!

It’s been a while, but I finally started getting new pages from Sara.  I was only a little worried, but from the e-mail I got from her, I need to get on the stick with the story, because she’s rededicated herself to it, and has upped her art performance, as well.  And boy, has she ever!  Look at this page!  It’s gorgeous!

I also fixed some slight navigation isuues on the site, so everything should be working properly now.  Should be good!

And here, we start to see the rest of the Group.  Things will be getting more interesting from here on.  Yeah, a lot of setup, but the pain is over from here.  The chapter is almost done, and the real horror starts soon.

In other news: I’m back from SDCC, and more than likely exhausted.  The good news is that I’m on vacation from my other job, so I have time to rest and recover.  Forethought!

These buildings are real.  The only thing not real about them is the wall that surrounds the grounds.  Isn’t photo-reference a great thing?

And why is it that churches are creepy at night?  No, I don’t know, either.  

In other news, I’m not here!  I’m actually on my way to SDCC.  My bags should be packed, and I should be on the road.  I doubt I’ll be going to preview night, but I’ve got my four day pass, and will be having a great time.  This year will be okay, but next year should be REALLY good.  I’ll write about it in my other blog.

In other news, SDCC is not only this month, but rapidly approaching.  Hopefully, I have all of my stuff in order.  I don’t like being unprepared if at all possible.

There are times when you just don’t have to say anything.

So I didn’t.

I gave Sara two ways she could go with this: she coul go with some nudity, or she could forgo the nudity with something that was tasteful yet gets the point across.  This is what she came up with.  Does the job, doesn’t it?  

Like I said, she makes me look MUCH better than I should.
